Schottenhamel Festzelt

Anyone who is enthusiastic about making a reservation at the Schottenhamel Festhalle in Munich can take part in a very special spectacle on the first day of Oktoberfest in this beer tent: tapping. At this point, Munich's Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter marks the first barrel at 12 o'clock and shouts "O'zapft is!", Only then can the other tents also serve their feast beer.

Those who book a table in the Schottenhamel marquee are surrounded above all by the young Wiesn audience at the Oktoberfest. Every year, the beer tent, which serves around 10,000 guests, is the meeting place for young people to party and drink at the Munich Oktoberfest. What is not missing here are good-humored Oktoberfest visitors who like to flirt. Of course, this is even easier with a fresh draft beer from the Spaten Franziskaner brewery when tasting with the table neighbors!
