Ochsenbraterei

High above the entrance sits a magnificent, oversized ox - with a reservation in the Ochsenbraterei of course, no meat lovers too short!

An average of 90 oxen are consumed every year at the Munich Oktoberfest in the Festhalle of the Spaten Brewery. These are selected in advance - each one individually - by the owners and bear the BIO certificate. A reservation in this Oktoberfest tent is not only for meat lovers in question: since 2016 are even vegan dishes on the menu, which are also prepared vegetables with organic certification.

For the background music and a cozy atmosphere in the tent provides the Oktoberfest band Mathias Achatz, the Bavarian breeze music during the day and of course in the evening with Wiesnhits the celebrating guests at beer drinking.

But the attraction of reserving seats in the Ochsenbraterei Marquee remains an ox on the spit - as a delicacy over which even his name can be read on a sign during the roasting process. On the menu of the marquee, therefore, a number of preparation variants can be found, which guests can taste and enjoy every day in a traditional beer tent scenery.
