Augustiner-Festzelt

Managed by Manfred and Thomas Vollmer since August 1898 in Munich at the Oktoberfest, the Augustiner Festzelt is considered a family-friendly tent and counts many regular guests among its visitors - also due to the particularly friendly waiters who serve their beer in the marquee with a smile on the lips.

A reservation request in the Augustiner Festhalle is especially worthwhile, if you want to taste the Oktoberfest beer, which is still served here in authentic 200-liter wooden barrels (so-called deer). The Augustiner Festzelt also brings together regulars from Munich's largest beer gardens and taverns, and offers a lot of fun and action once a week (on both Tuesdays).

If you do not want to do without regional food and the best quality on the Oktoberfest, you should book your seats in the Augustiner tent. The Augustiner Oktoberfestkapelle under the direction of Reinhard Hagitte provides a good and cozy atmosphere. Consumption vouchers purchased in advance at the Augustiner Festhalle but not consumed can be redeemed by the way until the 1st of November of the same calendar year in the Augustiner Bräustuben.
